About Me
My name is Wendy Sanders and I'm a makeup artist/ hair stylist specializing in film and print. I do all kinds of makeup and hair including corrective, glamour, pinup/period, wigs, SFX, fantasy, and bodypaint. I have worked for clients across the nation in theatre, television and film and am always interested in working on new creative endeavors!
I've been nominated for numerous awards including 2 Austin Fashion Awards in 2009 for best makeup artist people's choice as well as most creative makeup, and 2 in 2010 for best makeup artist people's choice and best mash-up team. I've also been nominated for many theatrical makeup awards as well as won an Opus Award for best makeup design for Openstage Theater and an award from the Wild Rose Independent Film Festival for best makeup for my work on the film 'Recently Deceased.'
